# Managed IT and low voltage in Ann Arbor, MI

Technical teams, historic downtown blocks, and new mixed-use buildings. Ann Arbor's economy is built around the University of Michigan and Michigan Medicine, with startups, research companies, and professional firms around them. Many of those teams already have someone technical in-house. What they usually lack is round-the-clock monitoring, tested backup, and someone to pull cable and mount cameras. The buildings range from the city's 15 local historic districts, which take in much of downtown Main Street, to the denser mixed-use projects the city's 2050 land use plan encourages along its transit corridors.

## What the work looks like in Ann Arbor

- Co-managed IT for teams with their own technical staff: monitoring, endpoint security, backup, and after-hours coverage, without taking over what they already run well.
- Exterior cameras and card readers on a building in one of the historic districts can need Historic District Commission review. We check before we drill.
- Cabling, Wi-Fi, and cameras for offices, storefronts, and multi-site retailers in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, scheduled in advance from our Troy office.
- Custom integrations, internal tools, and prototypes through our research and development work, handed over with the source.
