Managed IT and low voltage in Sterling Heights, MI

Assembly plants, defense suppliers, and the Hall Road corridor.

Sterling Heights is Macomb County's largest city and one of its manufacturing centers. The assembly and stamping plants on Van Dyke and Mound anchor a supply chain of machine shops, tool and die, and parts suppliers, and the defense contractors along the same corridor bring their own security rules. North of them, Hall Road is retail, restaurants, medical offices, and the redevelopment of the former mall site. Our Troy office is directly west on 16 Mile, so this is a city we work in most weeks.

What the work looks like here.

  • Plants and shops: Wi-Fi that reaches the floor, cameras over docks and yards, machines on their own network segment, and cabling that survives a shop environment.
  • Defense and automotive suppliers: managed IT and cybersecurity with the evidence for customer questionnaires and NIST SP 800-171 or CMMC readiness. See [manufacturing](/industries/manufacturing/).
  • Warehouses and distribution: scanner Wi-Fi surveyed with the racking in place, plate capture at gates, and support for the devices on the floor. See [warehousing & logistics](/industries/warehousing-logistics/).
  • Hall Road retail, restaurants, and medical offices: point-of-sale and guest networks kept apart, cameras where incidents happen, and the backup and email security a practice needs.

Common questions

Before you call.

More plain answers →

Do you work in Macomb County?

Yes. Sterling Heights, Warren, Utica, Shelby and Clinton townships, and the rest of the county are inside our on-site area. The Troy office is a few miles from the county line.

A prime contractor is asking about CMMC. Where do we start?

With a gap analysis against NIST SP 800-171: what the controls ask for, what you have, and what it costs to close each gap. We put the controls in and keep the evidence. Certification comes from an authorized assessor, not from us.

Can you keep the plant running while you work?

Yes. Cabling and camera work is scheduled around shifts and shutdowns, network changes happen in an agreed maintenance window, and machine networks are touched only with the plant's engineer present.

Tell us what's in front of you.

A drawing set, a failing switch, an audit deadline, or a hunch that IT costs too much. We'll tell you who picks it up and what it takes.
